Die Teilnehmer der Gedenkveranstaltung sammeln sich vor dem Kiosk in der Mallinckrodtstraße 190, wo Mehmet Kubasik vor 20 Jahren erschossen wurde.
Hendrik Wüst spricht auf der Bühne, am Rednerpult ist ein Plakat der Veranstaltung mit dem Foto Mehmet Kubasiks. Im Hintergrund die Worte: "In Erinnerung an die Opfer des NSU-Terrors - In Gedenken an Mehmet Kubasik", darunter die Namen der 10 Opfer des rechtsextremen NSU.
Gedenktafel für die Opfer des NSU-Terrors in Dortmund, nahe der Gedenkstätte Steinwache, davor drei Blumenkränze.
