Due to lack of resources and funding, early marketing materials are in use that were created with a mix of generative Al and human art. However, NEARstudios is actively working to replace those promotional materials Hawthorn will not ship with generative Al content." This is NEARstudios final statement on the use of Al in Hawthorn. NEARstudios final word on the use of genAI in Hawthorn's development is woefully lacking.

I'm so pissed off by this because I still had hope the devs would take a strong stance but they clearly knew, and don't regret, what they did.
