Finished the story and checked out Abyssal Road a bit. If you’re a fan of the base game this DLC is absolutely worth the cost.
Story is notably more difficult than the base game imo, in a good way.

I think this places just above Khazan for me because I loved how arcadey it was. I loved the game feel in this, too. I loved the OST. The weapon types. And how damn replayable it is.
It naturally made me want to 'do better' each time.
Now my favorite in the series.

Beat my first playthrough. I really thought Khazan was locked in as my favorite action game of the year but I think this might have just nudged it for that spot.
I expected to enjoy it but I REALLY ended up liking the game feel and loop of it all.

Maybe combat just feels more comfortable or “clicked” for me.
