After a deserved (and needed) rest, we start the 2nd day of #NGSB24 with a talk by Dr. Marie-Eve Aubin-Tam of TU Delft. Her lab uses microorganisms to create inorganic‐ #biopolymer composite materials with a layered structure inspired by tough natural biomineralized tissue.
Lots of two things at the VIB #ngsb24 conference this year - machine learning aided protein design and pooled gene synthesis technologies.
