This time it was Pulse who used the super shot to advantage to stretch their lead, and they're up by 8 going to the last break. Both teams have utilised their bench. Gracie Smith came on and provided a spark for Pulse.

Well, how things can change. Pulse was on top for most of the second quarter and got out to a good lead before a barrage of super shots from Clark and Wallace-Joseph brought Lightning right back into it.

Possibly big game nerves playing a part. Lots of turnovers in the first quarter with both teams struggling for fluency in attack. Funmi Fadoju has already come up with a few big plays to give Pulse the advantage.
