In particular, despite #NXTUp, Mothman and I had somehow still never run the set. In no small part because I’m intimidated by his talent (he made 9th out of 701 this weekend!). We ran it. I lost 2-3, nor 0-3. They were good games. I’m proud of that.

Hyping me up at and after Impossible Zangief, and including me in #NXTUp without tokenizing me for being female or queer—and without discussing my disability (dyspraxia) beyond how I personally chose to speak about it—was not a small thing. It was real inclusion in action.
