I used to like autobiographical works. At some point though, I lost interest. But then I read "My lesbian experience with loneliness" by Nagata Kabi and my view changed.
Honestly I...Thought drawing about my feelings would be cheap. Because I could easily do it. It felt natural. And because who would even want to see it anyway?
I didn't want to be that guy who just draws about being sad all the time. I didn't want to be cheap just because I couldn't make a story. I... Didn't want it to be ignored either.
In the vast sea that is social media. I don't want my feelings to drown, unseen, ultimately touching no one. I don't want to be misunderstood.
