It is important to include people with disabilities in planning for disasters. Organizations and agencies need training to follow the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The U.S. Access Board has technical assistance to make sure that people know how to do this by making sure that: Buildings and spaces can handle extreme heat or cold.
The design is suitable for everyone, including those with disabilities.
