I made it to the Goodwill on 1st Ave w/time to spare, & got an answer AND 3 new questions:
a) At least this location marked #NationalThriftStoreDay YESTERDAY (?);
b) GWNY/NJ no longer uses the UPC card for rewards points (??); and
c) my rewards acc't & any points are no longer in the system (?!?!?).
Not only am I missing #FlameCon this weekend, but today is also #NationalThriftStoreDay, which I realized is a strange occasion to observe on a Sunday, seeing as many such institutions are faith-based, or at least operate at reduced capacity. If I'm lucky I MIGHT make it to a Goodwill after work.
1/ So, yesterday was #NationalThriftStoreDay in the US. I did not go.
I already had an 11-hour road trip planned, and Goodwill *on a good day* takes an hour.
