Smithwick Channel is a small break in Isle Royale's barrier islands that allows safe passage from Lake Superior into Rock Harbor Channel. Raspberry Island can be seen to the left of the view, and Smithwick Island is to the right. This passage is used by many, but perhaps most frequently by the ISLE ROYALE QUEEN IV passenger ferry out of Copper Harbor, MI to travel to and from Rock Harbor. The webcam is solar powered and communicates multiple times per day, year-round, when power and communications infrastructure allows.

This is the view *looking north from the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center at Lassen Volcanic National Park. The peak to the left is Mt. Diller and Pilot Pinnacle sits to its right. On cool days, it is possible to see steam rising from the Sulphur Works hydrothermal area. *Alert - A webcam image is unavailable during a transfer process. This Logan Pass webcam shows the beginning of the Hidden Lake Trail, a popular hiking trail in Glacier. Hikers can hike 1.4 miles to the Hidden Lake Overlook for a view of Hidden Lake and Bearhat Mountain or continue another 1.2 miles (dropping 780 feet) to the north shore of Hidden Lake. Is Crater Lake visible today? Sometimes the lake is hidden by clouds, especially in the winter. This view looks north across the lake from the Sinnott Overlook at Rim Village (elevation 7,100 feet). On a clear day, it takes in Wizard Island, Llao Rock, and Mount Thielsen. Image updates every 4 to 6 minutes.
