It's all about them just deciding that they do the stuff their way. Why, if they wanted to make the plot more grim and for older audiences, did they manage to make the characters so flat and one-dimensional?! #natla
And by skipping all the downside episodes where we see the group interact more and learn it just feels flat. The viewer has not to work or wait to see how these characters grow and where they come from. It's all just instantly told. Season 1 is not about them growing from failures. #natla
Katara's changes were so weird in x7. Her arc so far is all about power. There is not much care shown for her group. So her fight against Pakku seems to only to gain more power. But feminism shouldn't be only about power. That's not who she was #natla
It drives me nuts. They wanted to make it less childish and cartoony but then let the characters have more cartoony and childish lines WHILE also sometimes talking like grown-ups. It's so clear that these are not real characters. The original mixed that way better, the characters grew. #natla
Is that only me or are all the main-cast women in the show are the same, like, type? #natla
Also I'm at 7 now, and... man... How can a show have some great changes and lines while at the same time screws up so many other things. Including acting, lines and storytelling.
