Join us next Saturday for a FREE guided boardwalk exploration of Crymlyn Bog with Steve Dixon, of Buglife and Matt Cooke ARC's #NaturAmByth Adder Action Project Officer. Bring your phones to take photos as part of the City Nature Challenge. Kids aged 5+ welcome but must be accompanied by adults.

So far, in 2025, VWT’s #NaturAmByth project has collected 2,675 new acoustic records of barbastelles in Pembs. By the year end, we expect 3,000+ records — a fantastic result. Thanks to our vols+@heritagefunduk.bsky.social, we’re learning more about barbastelles in Wales and how to help them thrive.

Last week, we hosted our 2nd Pinecone Bat Making event at Colby Woodland Garden – just in time for Halloween! Delivered as part of VWT's #NaturAmByth Barbastelle Project, children got crafty while learning about some of our rarest UK bat species and we saw some fantastic batty creations on the day!
