A close view of a honeybee on small, compact, closed flowers with pink and white colouring. The flowers are like sharp white eggs slightly opening into five sections within which a pink interior and small pink fingers seem to emerge. Each flower is about the size of the bee's head. The bee is a golden colour with long body, thickly striped to the rear but thinly striped nearer the thorax. It has its wings folded back and its proboscis extended into a flower, and its body has small bits of pollen over its furred legs, thorax, and abdomen. The back of the flowering plant is out of focus and it's all backed up by deep greenery of leaves we can't quite make out.

The #FotoVorschlag theme is "Insekten" and even my terrible understanding of German can work out what that means so here's a honeybee on some flowers that I think are part of the Sedum genus but don't quote me on that.
