#WorldPrematurityDay2024 today.
Both of my boys were born early, my first was born at 28 weeks and spent 3 months in NICU.
It is still one of the hardest times in my life, seeing him so small but also I was so proud when he got promoted out of intensive care #NeonatalFeelings

In Jan 23 my little boy came 3 months early at 28 weeks, weighing just 830g! He came home in April on oxygen.
Now a feisty toddler & although his start was tough, he’s making up for it now 💜

Thankfully there is lots of research and interest in supporting and helping families now in the UK and across the world

1/3 of parents who contacted us for advice in the early days of our campaign were neonatal families. My baby was also born premature. It's an experience never to be forgotten ❤️ #neonatalfeelings
