Today’s progress. Slow going but happy with the results so far. Trees are much easier in pastel but it feels like real accomplishment to do this level of detail in pastel instead of loose bold swaths of color.

For me, painting isn’t an immediate accomplishment that goes by rapidly. I have spent a month painting on a painting so the only thing that I can hope for is progress. Here’s what that looks like.
