The Newport Bridge, Middlesbrough over the river tees. The Bridge is perfectly reflected in the river. The light of industrial Teesside shinde between the water and the bridge. Two beams of light shine upwards from the edges of the structure. Built in 1934, the bridge lifts up the two towers to let large vessels through. The operating building sits in the centre onto of the beams. Its no longer operational but is still a much used road linking Middlesbrough to Billingham.
Not my usual dark sky stuff, but this was a fun night in the dark, deep in the industrial metropolis of Middlesbrough. The #NewportBridge illuminated and reflected in the river #Tees was a stunning subject...
