Really enjoyed being part of the #Newsrewired panel about SEO in the age of AI.
We covered a lot: AI Overviews, algorithm updates, site reputation abuse penalties, Discover, and building a lasting online media brand.

Excellent keynote from Sean Gourley kicking off the AI theme at #newsrewired. He poses a fascinating question; when scrolling apps and timelines, are users starting to prefer the non-real AI generated world? @journalismnews.bsky.social
Well that was a fascinating and utterly depressing talk from Sean Gormley at #Newsrewired.
He showed how bot farms and sophisticated state operations control the information space on TikTok and X (and elsewhere) and thus control (literally) what people believe.
Now the question is, what can we do?
