The image shows Nivarli, specifically Karyn, in their natural, unaugmented state, demonstrating their environmental adaptions. From left to right, you have general Nivarli for temperate worlds, then ones adapted for colder climates (Skin becomes more pale and washed out, body fat increases, tail thins, and fur expands), hot climates (Skin hue deepens in richness, body fat lowers stored in the tail instead, fur retreats almost entirely.) And at the end, a more extreme adaption to an aquatic lifestyle with the addition of fins instead of the usual fur. This list is not extensive and Nivarli can take many shapes and forms beyond these shown depending on where they settle, and can adapt to new climates and biomes within days, or in some rare cases hours.

Won't lie, did my soul good seeing how people loved the sfw Karyn from earlier. For those curious, her species is "Nivarli" a homebrew amalgamation of various shortstack traits, with a focus on adaptability.
