The idea behind the £1 fare (I believe) is to encourage people who don't usually use the bus to give it a go. When the fare's usually £2.20, £1 is quite an encouragement (and handy when the weather's bad and your knee doesn't fancy the walk home). #NoBusPassYet #PublicTransport #DitchTheCar
