Today, we raise our voices louder than ever to support the #SCREAMProgramme — Supporting Children’s Rights through #Education, the #Arts, and the #Media — an initiative that doesn't just speak for children, but speaks with them. 🗣💪 Even in #2025, 160 million children — that’s nearly 1 in 10 kids worldwide — are still trapped in #ChildLabour. 🧱🔧⛏ Not #Childhood. Not #Education. Just labour. 😞 ➡ From the dusty brick kilns in South Asia to the mines in Africa… ➡ From the hidden garment factories to urban street corners... Children are being robbed of their #Dreams, #Dignity, and #Development. 💔 But here's the truth 👇 💡 #ChildLabour is not just a #Poverty issue. It's a #Policy issue. A #Protection issue. A #People issue. The new 2025 global report by #ILO & #UNICEF 📊 will shine a stark spotlight on the progress — and the gaps — in our global fight to eliminate #ChildLabour. And it couldn’t come at a more critical moment. ⚠ #EconomicInequality, post-pandemic recovery, ongoing conflicts — all have pushed families to desperate corners, and children into labour. 🌍 #MiddleIncomeCountries shockingly account for more than 50% of child labourers globally.
