DAY 29 - RANDOMISER
I used Phase Plant to create a bunch of different textures.
I then imported the 91 resulting files into Wwise and used
a few Random Containers to bring to life the soundscapes of an alien planet!

Day 29! Thought I’d try having a go at creating those really nice low mid textural sounds, so I created a patch in Phaseplant that procedurally generates and processes those kind of sounds from a rapidly triggering impulse sound (which also triggers randomly)

DAY 28 - UNORGANISED
I imported the audio renders of the previous 27 posts into my DAW and chopped them up, leaving only about 5-6 tiny clips of each. I (un)organised them to create this weird cacophony. It reminds me of a TV going mad, frantically switching channels on its own.

Day 27! Slightly more abstract one today. Wanted to see if I could create the auditory version of a kaleidoscope using phaseplant and a very basic starting point (essentially just a sine pluck), processing everything using delays, pitch shifting and reverser and reverb.

DAY 26 - SCHRÖDINGER
I transformed a monster growl I did using my cat's purrs. I kept the signal chain the same but replaced it with Geiger counters. I also used a pre-designed ‘radiation monster’ sound which I thought was funny as a sweetener, and bear vox to fill up the low end.

Day 25! Was a bit torn on what to do today, but in the end I made a transitional sound/bit of music as if someone was drifting away from reality.

DAY 24 - SUSTAINABLE
Wrote a chord progression using a high note was sustained as a pedal tone all the way through. I liked the chords but I wanted to make it more sound design focused, so I separated the chord tones into individual tracks and had them all perform metal samples.

Day 21! Really struggled to come up for something today, but I decided in the end to take a technical difficulties image (with all the different coloured stripes), whack that into serum 2 to create a wavetable out of it, and then whack that into Phaseplant to create a bass.

DAY 21 - STRIPES
I created stripes by chopping three instrument tracks into 16th note audio clips and created syncopated rhythms by having different volume patterns on each track, so every X note in each track would be accentuated. Added some Trance Gate to top it off!

Day 20! Using a bit of physics for this one. I took the frequency range of visible blue light on the electromagnetic spectrum, scaled it down by x10 ^-12 (THz to Hz) and used that frequency range of noise to create a procedural ocean generator in Phaseplant!
