This morning I did a fascinating walking tour around the stunning #Osaka Castle & Grounds - which includes amazing views and some of the original wall sections which date back to 1583 located 10m underground! 🏰🇯🇵 #Japan #NonstopEurotrip

Today I'm on a day trip to #Okayama from #Osaka to explore a few things away from the regular tourist path! 🇯🇵 First I'm jumping onboard this Nozomi Shinkansen for the 44 min trip in Ordinary Class 🚅 #Japan #NonstopEurotrip

Heading down to #Osaka on the Tokaido Shinkansen today 😎 Was really great to see Mount Fuji out the train window 🌋🇯🇵 This 3 hour trip costs £80 in Green Car (First Class) 🚆 #Japan #NonstopEurotrip

Then I headed up the Hakone Tozan Mountain Railway, funicular and cable cars and down to Lake Ashi where there are pirate ships to ride - shame the weather wasn't very good! ☔️🇯🇵 #Japan #NonstopEurotrip

Today I left #Tokyo from #Shinjuku Station and headed along the Odayku Railway to Hakone-Tozan 🇯🇵 This 'Romance Car' Ltd Express has a ¥1,200 (€7) seat reservation fee which doubles the regular fare - but is worth it for the views! 🇯🇵 #Japan #NonstopEurotrip

Bengaluru Airport T2 is the best I've used in #India by far 🇮🇳 Amazing design, loads of excellent shops/restaurants, super clean, a brilliant lounge and an awesome spa 👍🏻 #NonstopEurotrip

One of the super cool things you can do in #India (and China) is order food to your train at predetermined stops through the IRCTC app. Pay online by card, or when delivered by cash. We are 2h late and my pizza was still warm! 🍕 🇮🇳 🚆 #NonstopEurotrip
