I don’t see how any of this isn’t automatically #unconstitutional.
Also, #NotALawyer
I'm not sure how reputational damage should be a consideration. If your reputation sucks because of the shit you did and bragged about, maybe you deserve reputational damage?
#NotALawyer
He can leak it to a journalist. Bartnicki v Vopper (2001) likely protects journalists who receive & publish material acquired by a third party illegally, as long as the journalist did not participate in the illegal acquisition. #notalawyer
Jebus. I don't know which number makes my head spin the most.
3? Because murdle is wrong?
148, because, murdle again.
43, because they're each illegal acts? (Piracy? Illegal war action? IDK. I'm #NotALawyer.)
11/21 This is how we resist. By forcing them to adhere to current policy, they either have to admit the order is against policy, and retract it, or they have to change the policies, which would open them up to litigation (which they might be already even without putting it in writing #notalawyer).
ij.org/press-release/public-int... I have been saying and writing “I’m not a lawyer” a lot recently, thinking about this lawsuit. Glad […]
Maybe someone can explain this to me. Aren’t policies about who’s civil service set by congress, not the president? #notalawyer
Trump Strips Job Protections From Thousands of Federal Workers - www.nytimes.com/2026/02/05/u...
"The people" will be lever in court. Only citizens are people, every other human, non-people. And the 6 of 9 will probably buy it.

There's gotta be something allowable when you have someone so LAWLESS leaving blatant EVIDENCE because they know how to play the game. #NOTaLawyer

I could make the case that the man ICE murdered today had every right to defend the woman being pushed to the ground and pepper-sprayed, even with the gun he carried legally in his waistband. #NotALawyer

#NotALawyer, but...
s.33 is used when passing legislation, not when invoking a power described within legislation, as was the case here.
If s.33 were used to pass the Emergencies Act, it would have to be reviewed and re-passed every 5 years, even if it hasn't been used.
The […]
#NotALawyer, but this one I know for certain.
I say it's going to be the same week his lawyer gets confirmation that he can't/won't be charged.
Either ACAB immunity, or maybe even a pardon, will let him walk.
The only possibility for a trial, as I see it, is if they can bring a State case.

So, food desert stores that are already packed to the gills, will have to stop selling diapers, batteries, and cough syrup, just to find room for this "doubling", or else give up taking the EBT cards that keep them solvent?
That sounds like extortion, to my ears.

You are half correct.
No statute of limitations, but prosecuted by the state.
They will want it to be federal so he can get pardoned.

I am #notalawyer, but there are plenty of cases like this where officers are not convicted. The better Qs to have are *why* ICE is storming left-leaning cities, why Trump appointees will frame this as "violent rioters" + "domestic terrorism," and why so much of the right will believe them.
Depending on where you live, there can be community kitchens for doing this.
Some people use them once, & hold the knowledge that they *could use them again in case anyone comes asking to see where their baked goods are made.
"I totally rent this amazing kitchen space" 😜
#NotaLawyer lol
Well as you know I’m #notalawyer so do check 😁
But I believe that’s the case
I thought I saw there is a tendency of this SCOTUS to weigh in now but leave it open for review in the future. I don’t know the term but it was basically, we’ll do it for this president but it won’t be available to others once revisited. #NotALawyer
When's someone gonna tell him that he just doesn't get to do stuff like this?

#notalawyer but I’ve got a hunch that you can’t overturn constitutional provisions with a line in a legislative act.
#notalawyer but I think the idea is that e.g. if Hegseth was charged with a crime and argued that the order was legal in because of the OLC memo suggesting the laws of war applied...even if a judge agreed with him about that, he'd still be in trouble.
Perhaps there is a case here under the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection and Immunities Clauses? #NotALawyer
I'm also #NotALawyer, but, I think she's covered by the AG telling her she was appointed.
A small fig leaf of "I thought I had the authority to charge. Oops."
Besides, Rudy Colludy barely got disbarred, and look at all of the ways he tried to break the law, in multiple states. And sometimes DID.
Wow. As a long time legal nerd, former big law firm legal assistant, but #notalawyer I’m beyond shocked at this entire exchange. When do we get bar referrals for losing licenses?
Meaningless and unenforceable without defining "biological", something which the Supreme Court failed to grasp. "Self evident" is not meaningful phrase in law, I would think.
