Seaview of an island on the left with a long pebble beach extending to the right. Closer is a long platform with buildings known as Portland Breakwater. The sky is clear with some white clouds coming in off the eastern horizon. The sea is relatively calm and reflecting the sunlight.
At Nothe Forte yesterday for their Family Science Fair, volunteering for the Etches Collection stall. Not a bad view on a lunch break. Portland to the left and Chesil Beach in the far distance.

Nothe Fort, Weymouth is a historic sea fort with great views, a maze of underground tunnels, a secret nuclear bunker and Victorian gun deck.
The fort’s open on weekends only until 28 March when it’s daily again.
