IEHS members gathered this week in Chicago for our annual banquet. In between bites of Mediterranean food, we celebrated all of the amazing scholarship in immigration and ethnic history our colleagues produced this last year.

Tonight I was in excellent company at the @oah.org as the members meeting overwhelmingly voted to endorse a Resolution Opposing Scholasticide in Gaza. Speakers addressed the need for historians to stand up for the right to teach, study, & learn. #OAH25

Last day was great, I went to a work in progress panel, the business meeting, presidential address and got to watch the Cubs game at a great Irish pub.

My book haul is small because I had other books for my comps with me and ran out of space, I’m buying more online. #OAH25
