I suddenly started thinking about what it would be like if Breeze was in a sci fi setting instead of a fantasy setting.
I'd rather draw more pictures of the main version of Breeze but I might draw sci fi Breeze someday.

I've been enjoying an idea I had for my wizard project. Basically, there are magical beings that have been practically forgotten by the world and aren't taking it well. JoyJoy is now one of those beings. I have ideas for more of them.
JoyJoy would hate them.

I've been making some changes to JoyJoy. Her personality is pretty much the same but her backstory and motivation are different now. Honestly, I like her as a character more now. :)
She's still possessive of a certain cat. That's not changing.

I'd like to create more characters for Breeze to interact with. Friends, people she'd come across during her travels, other wizards, magical beings, and villains.
I wonder what sort of trouble those last two would cause for Breeze (or what sort of trouble Breeze would cause for them).

I'm surprisingly satisfied with JoyJoy's new design. I wasn't certain about it at first but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it.
Some people told me she looks more like a villain now. That's good to hear. She was always supposed to be an antagonist.

I've been thinking about redesigning JoyJoy a little. She was always meant to have a clown-like appearance. I'm considering making that more apparent. I'm gonna try out some ideas I had.

Drawing Breeze dealing with magical mishaps has been fun. I think I should create some new characters specifically to cause problems for Breeze. Why not? That's pretty much why I created JoyJoy.

Talking about JoyJoy with other people has made me realize that the true tragedy of JoyJoy is there are plenty of people who would love to be friends with her but she wound up with Breeze instead.
This is what happens when I create a character just to mess with Breeze specifically.

Just wanted to do some OC appreciating.
I really like Breeze! She's such a fun character! I love how enthusiastic she is! I love how much of a nerd she is! I love how fascinated she is by things others would find strange and dangerous! I can't wait to draw more art of her!

One day, I'm going to redesign Breeze. I'm not sure how much I'll change but there will be changes.
When I designed Breeze, I had a different concept in mind than the one I have now. I can't help but wonder what she would've looked like if I had her current concept in mind back then.

It's kind of amusing that during the creation of JoyJoy, I went from "I want to make a silly snake OC" to "Imagine if a powerful, unkillable being chose you as their favorite and wanted you to spend the rest of your life doing your least favorite activity with them".

Today, I realized my second most drawn OC of 2025 was JoyJoy. I'm kinda surprised by that since she's only been around for a few months.

I can't guarantee anything but I think I'd like to draw one more picture of Breeze and the Caretaker interacting before the end of the year. It feels appropriate since those two were the OCs I drew the most this year.
I think it's safe to say those two are my favorite OCs.

I should make some friends for Breeze. Most of the characters in my wizard project are much older than her. There should be some characters who are around the same age as her.
I think these friends should also be wizards in-training so Breeze has people she can talk with about magic.

I started thinking about how some of my OCs would feel about Christmas if they learned about it. I think JoyJoy would not give it much thought beyond being an excuse for her to throw another party. She'd like the aesthetic though.

I had an idea for an OC that's the same type of magical being as JoyJoy.
I'm not gonna say much about them until their design is finished but I will say one thing. I think this character and JoyJoy would not get along. They have very different opinions on immortality.
