What a fucking week. I didn't do anything weird per se for #OFMDFuckeryFridays but I did step out of my comfort zone & pushed past my freeze mode (& freezing temps) to see my first live band show in ages, a kickass Fleetwood Mac cover group called Little Lies. So worth it. It was good for the soul.🏴‍☠️

#OFMDFuckeryFridays not very silly but i’ve started to make progress on my NY resolution of becoming a better runner and it’s INSANE how much a 5-10 min jog can improve your mood/energy. highly highly recommend 🤘🏽

In the spirit of keeping #OFMDFuckeryFridays weird, @florencesherman.bsky.social and I found this little guy at a gift shop in a bin of tiny horses labeled "MINI UPSETS" (Upset's the horse). We've been taking turns hiding him around the house for the other person to randomly find. 🐎

I ventured out of my comfort zone by going to the local private university for posh knobs and exercising my community-member borrowing rights. It was stressful but also necessary, since my poetry habit has now outpaced both my public library and my budget. #OFMDFuckeryFridays

it’s saturday but I baked brownies in a rush yesterday and it was PERFECT. fudgy, rich and slightly sticky with a smooth, cracked, shiny top. one of the best batches i’ve ever made 🤘🏽🤘🏽

For #OFMDFuckeryFridays I went on a little idvincha on my break at work with a hand drawn trizah map to find the room with a couple massage chairs. It felt like being a kid again, even if the room with the massage chairs was locked, sadly.

Made myself go to the local queer/trans drop-in art group this week (haven't been in MONTHS). I was late as usual (lol) but the time crunch forces me to bust my decision paralysis & just make SOMETHING. This week for #OFMDFuckeryFridays I used whimsy for self-care by spontaneously redecorating the bedroom of our airbnb just because it makes me feel better, and it's fun, damn it. Having a little comfy nest that's nice to look at makes the world feel a little less sharp. No pics quite yet, but soon!
