"Do you like it?" Hancock asks holding a mirror for Luffy. His is hair short, is one remaining eye red from bloodthirst, the other empty. Stress bites splits his lips. The bite that turned him plain and everlasting on his throat.
He doesn't answer.
She brings back the mirror, looking down at it. "I'm surprise you have a reflection, I was told vampires had none."
Luffy hums, his back turned to us. "Usopp was disappointed too."
"I wouldn't say disappointed-"
"Thanks for the cut, Hancock." Luffy interupts.
"Of course! Anything for my beloved!" She bashefully, happilly shakes her head around. "But, how have you been, really?"
Luffy holds Doflamingo's eye in his forever bloodied claws. His face in shadows, it zones on the eye. "I don't know. Everything's-" He looks at it, his silhouette growing blurry.
"Everything's the same as always." He speaks a black mass off center, out of the panel, Hancock now faceless. They're in her room, on her pillows, the curtain drawn in close.
She waits. "You've gotten paler. Thinner." Her image repeats unchanging. "Did you loose your appettite when you turned?"
"I'm hungry all the time. And I was happy when I was able to eat again. Sanji's foor is as good as always." He pauses. "Nothing's changed."
Luffy lookd down at the eye, the jaguar pattern of his Amazon Lily skirt turns into eyes that stare back right at him. We see the scars covering his legs but he's small in the frame. "Is it- Is it possible to kill someone twice? Or dozens of times over? My heart's beating again but-" His next words comes out just right of the speech bubble, missing it. "I don't know."
The scars creeps in the background, lines, spiderwebs.
Luffy's face is out of the panel, only the back of his head and neck visible. Short hair and a bite. "I feel" the spiderwebs fills the entirety of the background, almost gently swaying in the wind. "so so stupid."
