Some scenes from a hike today on The #Osgoode Link Pathway. Temperature was -3°C and wind gusting to 50 km/h, so a bit cool and breezy.

We found the city's observation deck has really fallen into disrepair and has now be taped with caution tape. Hopefully it will be rebuilt in 2026.

The Osgoode Link Pathway just south of the Hunt Club Bridge, showing it has been plowed, but the surface is still intact. The blade was lifted and did not plow down to the stonedust surface.

A stone dust crew working on the pathway south of Lester. The stone dust arrives by dump truck, is deposited into an asphalter to be spread and then is rolled, which produces a nice hard and smooth surface for biking on, unless you run a snow plow over it again this coming winter...

A new, repaired surface on the Osgoode Link Pathway. As of this morning the work was not completed, but crews were on site working to finish the surface repairs and it should be done later on today.

This was a calibrated survey plinth before someone hit it wit some heavy equipment and smashed it.
