ObscuritasAU. Xaela Fray sits with Sid's shadow, looking off into the distance near Mamook. Their swords are near the tree at their feet and Sid's tail wraps around Fray while Fray tangles his with Sid's.

There is very little sense of urgency when there isn't an Ishgard for the two to return to.

A mix of Fray and Sidurgu's physical characteristics resulting in a gender ambiguous xaela with odd eyes. One eye appears to be alike to Sidurgu's with the bright limbal while the other seems to be Fray's.

I was trying the ponytail from the AscianAU on #ObscuritasAU and while I don't think I'll use it, I'm pretty fascinated by the optical illusion of Sid's eye being slightly larger than Fray's.

It may be a little hard to differentiate between temp fantasia and perma xaela Fray, but I'll do my best to tag the temp one as #FrAUra and the perma one as #ObscuritasAU.

The physical differences is that the latter has the odd eyes and is almost min height for male xaela and the other is sub 5'.

Fray stands on the docks, one sack slung over his shoulder while the other is at his feet. He appears to be waiting to board the boat. Rerenasu, the skipper, speaks with Jacke (the rogue's guild lead) about the suspicious contents of the sacks, asking if he wants him to fetch some more of the rogues to detain him. Jacke observes Fray, noting that he hasn't done anything against the law, as suspicious as that is.

Jacke goes on to note that Fray's looking at them both and states that some things should just remain in the dark, seemingly seeing a manifestation of Sidurgu's shadow behind Fray in a threatening manner.

"--'nough crystals t'summon a primal, Jacke. Want me t'call the rogues?"
"No, Rerenasu. Cove's not broken the code." Jacke paused, acknowledging that the au ra had seen him. "... An' some things should stay in the darkmans..."

tl;dr in their first iteration, Fray and Sid went to burn down Ishgard. Sid was lost, but irrevocably intertwined his aether and soul with Fray's and he inhabits Fray's body. Two souls and two very different aethers mashed into one has... an effect. Fray is somewhere between his original height and Sid's and retains much of his previous appearance, but with auri characteristics, including male patterned scales, horns, tail, and one of Sid's limbals/eyes. Anyone hunting Fray down for what he did to Ishgard is not as like to find him as he is clearly not hyur.

Well, #ObscuritasAU is getting a bit of a change.

Best keep that eye covered, you two.

This post has me considering 'consequences' for #ObscuritasAU. What all might/could change re: Fray's appearance co-inhabiting in the one body.

Something as subtle as eye color change? Something as drastic as #FrAUra ?

The shadow is Sidurgu is from the #ObscuritasAU in which they both returned to Ishgard to burn it to the ground and Sidurgu was lost in the fight. His soul resides entwined with Fray's and *is* Sidurgu living off Fray's aether.

Fray is mortally wounded, snarling at his opponent while holding a wound and attempting to continue the fight. Three Temple Knight bodies can be seen as well as Sidurgu's. A shadowy silhouette of Sidurgu helps cover Fray's wounds and holds his head. His tail curls around Fray protectively.

One step. Then two. Then Three.

The slow numbing creep had taken all feeling from below his waist now.

Four. Then five. Then six.

His lips twitched up into the smallest of smiles as if he found something funny.

Seven. Then eight. Then nine and-- nothing.

Fray stands in the front, sword to the side and left hand raised to cradle an ominous looking orb. A shadow of Sidurgu is behind him, reaching for his greatsword.

Spare Ishgard the bloodshed. Just give him back Sidurgu's body.

It just feels like my technical skill isn't there yet to be like "Yea, okay, I'm gonna share very explicit Fray." Like I somewhat brush against it with some of the #ObscuritasAU stuff, but like... aaaaa. I need to get better.

Fray is on his knees in front of the fireplace with a shadowy Sidurgu behind him. There are tentacles. Everywhere. How do I explain all of that without combusting? Fray is overstimulated.

Fray lays in the dark, eyes open, tangled up in a shadow shaped like Sidurgu.

The shadow shaped like Sidurgu is on top of Fray now, fingers entwined with Fray's left hand. Fray's right hand is pulling the shadow closer by the neck.

Fray is naked now and on his hands and knees with the shadow fucking him from behind, gripping his hips.

Fray holds the shadow's face with both of his hands, looking at him in despair.

"I prefer to sleep in the dark now because if I do, I can almost convince myself that nothing happened."
