This is the bright star Regulus near the Moon, after reappearing from behind the Moon following tonight's occultation. The Moon covered the star for just over one hour.

I've just watched the Moon occult (pass in front of) the bright star Regulus in a bright twilight sky. The star suddenly disappeared behind the dark limb of the Moon. This was despite patchy cirrus cloud.
