The best case & the best character work of S3. Katya was fantastic; the way she and Lucy clashed but understood each other, how Lucy hated seeing herself in Katya but ended up admiring her. Plus Camille, worried team & two great Kacy scenes.

2. 3x04
Kacy undercover honeymoon! They had rings, and they took down a criminal together, and had a really great conversation about their respective expectations about weddings; the 🥵 scene and MY WIFE. Also, Lucy teasing Kai and a team dinner.

The second best case of the season with a new sapphic ship that I really want to see come back eventually. Lucy and Ernie's B-plot was adorable and I adore the final scene; plus the second best use of Sam - poor Kai. And trashball! 🗑️🏀

Kate expanding her detective skills while struggling with an SA case, good handling of a difficult subject, a couple great Tenstler scenes, and the best use of Sam. I thought the Tennant mom stuff was incorporated a little awkwardly, though.

I like a collect the escaped prisoners story, I like the teams - the Kacy case, Ernie getting territorial about his lair, and the 3 Musketeers - and I liked the humor. Plus, the iconic Kate Whistler Excel Spreadsheet face.

6. 3x01
A little chaotic and too much Sam right off the bat; but there's baby boss and Kacy flirting in the bullpen and that cute Kate and Ernie scene, Tennant working through some of her trauma and the only Alex scene of the season. Plus, 🇮🇹!

7. 3x10
There's a lot of good here - Kai & Lucy get badass fight scenes, the Kacy & Ernie torture charade, plenty of Chase, a big team party and Maggie Shaw. The issue is the villain, who doesn't make sense as a character and is icky as commentary.

I loved the opening scenes, we learned a little about Heather Boone, Kai and Lucy had some great stuff, Tennant has a new fun friend, and the twist played great (at first). But after all that set up, ELITE die immediately? Still annoyed.😒

Look, I love the Chaos twins/undercover stuff, and them figuring out bro speak, and Jesse surfing. But I don't care what Sam's hiding and as a Jesse episode, it's a letdown. 3x01 at least gave us him speaking Italian; this gave us nothing.

There was some Chaos Twins, some Ernie trying to be a spy, and Kai jumping on a car - good. But while the twist reveal was fun, the journey to get there was pretty boring, and there wasn't enough fun character stuff to mitigate it.
