A brown and rather fluffy little grebe leaves bubbles and a decent wake behind it as it zooms along, reflected in the blue water. A bird with a purpose!

Some nice Peregrine action today. A pair killed a duck and fought over it with a Marsh Harrier and a Buzzard #OldMoor

Visited #RSPB #OldMoor today, before visiting Pugneys CP on way home. At OM I would say I saw a Caspian Gull. Can’t be too sure. F Goldeneye too. Common Gull and SpHawk all new for me this year here(7th Visit). 47 species in total, mostly usual suspscts! #YorkshireBirding #YorkshireBirds #Birds
