Played 3000pt Viking vs Norman #OnBloodyGround today with Phil, Jen, Andy and Jim. Lot of fun with some beautiful toy soldiers (and a lovely lunch) with Jen and my heathen Norse snatching a close victory 1568 points to 1493...

Played #OnBloodyGround with Phil, Jen & Michael last night. Sparta crushed the impudent Persians in a bloody battle that felt closer than it was (killing the Persian general really helped!). Good fun, will have to dust off my Athenians and paint up the Spartans in 2026...

I'm sure the Athenians had mercenary Amazonian hoplites in their army, right? Might have to rebase these for #OnBloodyGround

Phil's been talking up #OnBloodyGround and is currently working on a Persian army. I did mention I had an used Athenian army painted over a decade back so I they might be getting dusted off... (does the curse of the newly painted unit apply of they were painted 12 years ago?)
