Happy #FossilFriday! The tiny bones inside this partial egg (#MOR246) belong to an embryonic #dinosaur. Originally identified as #Orodromeus, later study identified them as #Troodon bones. Orodromeus & Troodon are found in the #Cretaceous Two Medicine Formation of #Montana.

Happy #FossilFriday! Life in the #Cretaceous could be dangerous for smaller #dinosaurs. This is #Orodromeus, whose name means “mountain runner.” Fossils of this small dinosaur were first discovered at Egg Mountain in the Two Medicine Formation of #Montana.
