We hold a little thankyou celebration when each osprey season is over, and since the volunteers do their thing online from locations all over the country - it's a moveable party too!

Team parenting skills on nest two! 💪 Male ospreys usually do the fishing and females do the feeding, but some pairs take a different approach. Here, Blue 476 is passing food over to mum Blue 717 to feed the remaining chick on nest two.

We have named the new female osprey at #LochArkaig Aurora.
A common Scottish girl's name now, Aurora means "dawn" which fits nicely for new beginnings on Nest 1. It also references the northern lights, aka aurora borealis often visible at the site. 🙂
