Adventuring against all odds takes a toll on all of us. After a wintry night out, Kaede and Kokichi return home. The snowy night colors the living room in gentle shades of blue and purple. A chinchilla plushie rests upon one of the arm chairs, while the scene slowly moves forward towards a coffee table with freshly made tea. The composition is framed by the fireplace, as the viewer takes the perspective as if they directly look into the room from behind it. Kaede wraps up Kokichi in a blanket and hugs him, as he stretches out his hands towards the fireplace.
