Looks like we're getting closer to a resolution #PAStateBudget

This is fine, if needed, but is it just another #UnfundedMandate or will they appropriate the funds to stock, maintain and replace? Oh, and how about passing that #PAStateBudget and #FullyFundingPublicSchools?

The time of 'playing nice' is over. The districts holding out in the Senate take more $$ from the state then they put in. PA Commonwealth Court ruled that the funding formula in PA was unconstitutional. Fund the schools. Fund them all now. Pass the damn budget. #PAStateBudget

Here in #PA we are facing a double whammy. Not only is the Federal Govt #shutdown, but our General Assembly here is 90+ days past due passing the #PAStateBudget. Schools are going without state funding and there is uncertainty that federal reimbursement will even be made.

Today is 74 days without a state budget. We are calling on legislators to please pass the budget to save programs that rely on those funds to provide lifesaving services for domestic violence survivors. #PAStateBudget

Save DV and SA Programs- PASS THE BUDGET!

On Sept. 10, at 2 p.m., PCADV, PCAR, and programs throughout the state will host an event in the rotunda of the Pennsylvania State Capitol building, urging legislators to pass the Pennsylvania state budget.
