Legit fuck the #ECHL, those were the “excessive demands” the #PHPA were asking for?

I’m sure some of the requests they will cave/adjust on, but medical benefits, no travel in between back to backs and being forced to work for free on their “day off” seems like a crazy hill for the ECHL to die on.

Holy crap the statement from the #PHPA says #ECHL teams are issuing non-fitting helmets and used equipment to players, that’s despicable. I’m sure it’s a team by team thing, hopefully they aren’t all that poorly run.

#ECHL players deserve the rest and compensation as pro hockey players they need. I hope the #PHPA is successful but if there’s a strike I’ll stand with the players.

It’s crazy how little they are paid and how little rest they get during the season.
