Pacific Northwest Seismic Network is again tracking the crowd noise levels at Safeco field for Game 3 of the ALCS(American League Championshop Series). After big plays, they will highlight the event on their charts like last time:

Monitoring stations detect small magnitude earthquakes at Mount Rainier An earthquake swarm that started at Mount Rainier on July 8, 2025, is the largest ever recorded at the volcano.

Mount Rainier has seen 391 located quakes since a swarm began July 8, surpassing 2009’s in size and energy. Activity is declining. Quakes are 2 to 6 km deep with no ground deformation or signs of magma.
