Also WHY IS THIS SO SHONEN?! It's very anime and I love it #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
I have no words. This is a pretty grotesque and literal way to show Hinako losing parts of herself. She cast away her relations and now her identity. Letting Fox bishonen decide for her. My goodness. #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
Finally got through the forest of lag. That was rough on my potato PC. Also Shu is suspicious. Was wondering why he supplied me with like 20 meds at the start. Always felt it was too much. Wonder if Shu has some ulterior motive to it ๐ค #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
Man these are all fucked up. I kinda like that we're descending into becoming a monster ourselves and that it's probably the bad end. We're not fixing whatever the problem is and it'll take multiple playthroughs for her to reach full autonomy/ self-actualization. #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
Rinko trying to show off by putting her letters in a puzzle but the recipient just gave up on the first try and never read her letters lmao #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
Rinko's telling Shu that "Hinako is dead. SHe is gone. I will snap you back to reality" and it really feels disjointed esp with Hinako being there and interacting with them. Theory 1: Hinako's really dead and she's been reliving her childhood in a loop until she's able to let go and move on? The dark shrine stuff feels like the border between life and death. Feels too like Fox man is guiding her to complete some sort of ritual. Btw I think Fox man is her groom and she's the one being married off. He's very gentle (and manipulative) to her. So Hinako died somehow as an adult and is stuck here due to some regrets or something. "Junko" I think is just a rep of her ideal person. Junko prob died a long time ago due to some disease going around the town and she regrets not being able to become the same? Someone who isn't shackled by tradition and gender norms? No idea tbh. Need more context.
School time! Things are starting to make sense to me (ALT). Feels like this whole 1st playthrough is about going through without any context at all and the 2nd is where everything will make sense. Hard to settle on my thoughts because it could go anywhere. #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
My God what an awesome design and boss fight. Hope we get more characterization for her. #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
Story - About tradition, identity, gender - all during this era of Japan - the hell does "f" mean? - Ebisugaoka - Small town vibe where everyone knows each other and the gossips. Plagued by something.
Characters Hinako - Bullied? - Hangs out with boys, very "unlady-like" - Patriarchal Dad - Doesn't retort against Sakuko - Got to Silent Hill probably because her sister died? Junko - Hinako's sister - Face hidden, wearing white Kimono - dead? - Neighbors whispering about someone dying and there's a disease going around the place. Could be Junko and Hinako's infected? Shu - Hinako's BFF Sakuko - The bully. Calls Hinako a "traitor" - maybe Jealous of Hinako and Shu's closeness? - dead lol Rinko - Jealous too, probably. Enemies - Doll/Puppet-like with no face. Representative of Hinako Fog Monster - Source of the red flowers and fog. They are familiar cuz of Fatal Frame and iirc signifies "death". Junko? - Got a short look at its silhouette. Kinda seems like wearing a kimono or a gown. Junko maybe?
My notes on the first hour-ish. Game's dealing with some heavy stuff already. #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
Took a lot of tinkering just to run it at 60 but I got there. Looks good enough. Game's really good so far! #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
Can't wait. Time for Silent Hill f(atal frame) #SilentHillf #Panda_SHf
