I wanted to make her skin look more rubbery, like an anime cooked octopus or those octopus shaped hotdogs in some characters lunches.

#OctoPanther's suckers kept changing their placement through the episode. The coolest thing in the episode is a submarine with a face, that shoots a missile out its eye, that opens up into spears.

I have her posed as if she is stepping out for a takeoff with her cloth "wings". I love her bid triangle eyes that match the red of her outfit.

#CutieHoney was really resourceful in this episode. She felt like an early American superhero, out-thinking Bad Fly instead of overpowering her.

Turns out Seiji's dad is a ninja and he even got #BadFly in the eye with a shuriken.

I don't know many cool poses for a character with giant blades for arms so I went with her hunching over as if she's about to take flight or land. She has way more detail in her hair and face than the rest of her body. A more classic super-villain design.

This episode reminded me a lot of the first episode for Sailor Moon. There's a diamond store Honey has to investigate with the reporter Seiji and they work together to catch #TomahawkClaw in disguise.

I have a theory that her costume is based on the Fire Rat whose fur was one of the impossible to find items Kaguya-Hime sent her suitors after to avoid having to deal with them.

When I first saw her I thought she was going to have dream powers and be based on the mythological Baku, but the name gave her true power away.

My next drawing of the #PantherClaw villains from #CutieHoney is #FireClaw. Not sure if I'm going to like Junpei or his dad but I could see Seiji getting better over time.

I wanted to keep Black Claw looking buff, but also made her waist and neck slender to give her a more impossible look. I also exaggerated her animalistic eyes and gave her claw hand two colours instead of one to differentiate the sections.

I started watching 1970s #CutieHoney and I love the wacky designs for the #PantherClaw villains. I figure I'll draw them as I go.
