newly married & didn't qualify for any Fed Student Aid in 1974; Students Still Had to Declare Their #ParentsIncome whether we were getting support or Not. A Prof took me to Fin Aid bc I told him I had to drop out bc of $$. I did get a #PellGrant. We had 2 Kiddos when I began my MPA, my hub insisted

Aid in F74 or for 4yrs after! Even tho I'd married at 3wks after turning 18yrs old. In 1974 #FedFinAidAPP Req I USE my #ParentsIncome. Even tho I did Not accept Any income from my Parents, their Income was used to Average with my Hub's Income, for 4yrs. Penalized me for being married ages 18-22.
