#ウスバシロチョウ 【長野県飯綱高原】6月上旬

特徴的なので、見かけたら印象に残るせいか、ものすごく珍しいというイメージはなかったんですけど、よくよく考えてみると、出会ったことがあるのは数回かもしれません。鱗粉が剥げてしまったかのような半透明の翅なので、ちょっとハラハラしてしまいます。でも、このチョウにとっては、これが正常なんですよね。

In relation to our focal taxa, this collection includes some paratypes of #Parnassius apollo (Lepidoptera: Papilionidae) varieties, which have been crucial for understanding the diversity and delimiting some Iberian subspecies!
