I have photographed this place before.

I doubt I will ever feel that I have captured the best image of the seemingly never-ending series of temple doorways with the image of Shiva’s lingam in the foreground.

Pashupatinath Temple is also known for its annual festival, Maha Shivaratri, which attracts thousands of devotees from all over the world. During this festival, the temple remains open throughout the night, allowing pilgrims to offer prayers and perform rituals under the light of millions of diyas (earthen lamps).

I took this at the Pashupatinath Temple in 2022. The temple is located on both banks of the Bagmati River on Kathmandu's eastern outskirts.
