Homemade deli meat to be a feature of Bunker food truck's new plans Until this point, The Bunker’s food truck has been serving meals from the organization’s parking lot every Thursday from May until September. This year, however, Executive Director Kevin Hildebrand said the group is trying something different. ‘We’re going to give it a shot’ Moving forward, the food truck will continue serving its weekly meals into winter. “We're going to give it a shot,” said Hildebrand, adding that the Bunker will make a few changes to accommodate the colder months. “The food trailer is always parked on our lot for Thursdays, but instead of people coming into the food trailer or ordering food from the trailer, they'll just duck into the Industrial Eats door, where we're going to be serving our pulled pork sandwiches. That'll be like a staple [item].

Good eats for a good cause: The Bunker food truck is back The Bunker’s Industrial Eats food truck is open in full swing this year, continuing their tradition of hosting a fundraiser lunch on The Bunker’s parking lot. We spoke to The Bunker's executive director Kevin Hildebrand last Thursday (May 22), before the lunch rush came by, and he noted the longevity of this fundraiser: “This is something we’ve been doing for a lot of years, on Thursdays over lunch”. The lunches support the work of The Bunker Youth Drop-in Centre programs. Why pulled pork?
