Where to Snow Ski Near Nashville Middle TN | Perfect North | Cataloochee | Snow Skiing Locations Nashville and Middle TN get a great taste of all four seasons, but not quite enough winter for those who enjoy snow skiing, so what's someone to do??? Yes, you can go out West for sure, and places like Park City, Breckenridge, and Vail will treat you to some unbelievable experiences, but there are some great options regionally that allow for more frequent weekend trips without having to traverse the airport, and without burning out the entire traveling group. From Middle TN, there are a few regional ski slopes that are all within about 5 hours, and even a few more places if you want to stretch to the 8-9 hours range (Timberbline (now owned by Perfect North) and Snowshoe). A lot of people in Middle TN are not aware that these places are within such a short drive and are delighted with they discover them. Saturday means early morning #skiing with my mom at #PerfectNorth. Conditions were great despite the warm weather (and no crowds)! Lazy afternoon with a trip to Target, reading and laundry.
