I have been testing the #perplexica #ai search engine in docker with a local #ollama instance. The results are quite impressive when setting it for quality answers. Can take a while to generate but good to start and do something else in the meantime

Trying out #Perplexica ( #opensource alternative to perplexity)

It's a bit slow with llama3:8b in my machine, but it's fast enough to use.
I might need some prompting to adjust the result.

Let's see if this can replace my perplexity subscription. I'm not a super user so the goal isn't so high
