I was commenting to a few folks on how #strangerthings & #PicardS3 wrapped things the right way. Its like they looked at the Sequel Trilogy & said, you know....we can pass the torch & wrap a story w/out killing off every legacy character.

One of the things I hope to happen if/when @terrymatalas.bsky.social #StarTrekLegacy moves forward is that Seven gets to explore Seven of Nine's science/engineering side again. I think the closest thing we've seen was in #PicardS3 when she helped Shaw with the Nacelles.
One thing about #PicardS3 that really needs some explanation is this idea that Seven prefers being called Seven. Imagine if Picard said "From now on, I will be known as Captain Locutus"? You can see where some people might see it as a sign she hadn't really left her loyalty to the Borg behind.
