It's easy to miss amongst all the what-the-fuckery, but the eponymous villains of #Planet_of_the_Spiders are #Doctor_Who creatures at their finest: a combination of the arts-and-craftsiest special effects you ever did see with a great vocal performance.

Anyway, I'm on my second watch of #Planet_of_the_Spiders, the hot messiness of which is exemplified by the first cliffhanger: a Buddhist ritual that summons an arachnid Mephistopheles. . .
